Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottage Rental Agreement

Deposits/Payments accepted by credit card, cash or cashiers check only. 

Two-night minimum stay is required, Three-night on Holidays.

Full rental fee is required at time of reservation.

Cancellation policy: If you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will be refunded, less a $5.00 service charge. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date no refund will be given. All dates are considered guaranteed and all schedule changes are subject to availability.

$100.00 Security/Cleaning Deposit is required at time of check-in. Deposit to be credited back to my card within one month of check out date, granted everything is in the same condition as when I arrived.

Having registered as an occupant of Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottage for the nights of __________-__________. I declare that no more than 4 persons including myself will be using Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottage for overnight sleeping purposes. I understand that the law prohibits the defrauding of innkeepers, fraud is punishable by a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) and/or by imprisonment in the County Jail for up to six (6) months.

I understand my responsibility as an occupant and accept all financial burdens for any damages to Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottage or property caused by me and/or any member of my party. By signing below, I agree to pay the owners for any repairs plus labor charges or replacements they deem necessary in the event that damages are caused during our stay. I also agree to pay for any lost revenue if repairs force cancellations of other reservations. I understand owners will report any such damages/loses to me in writing “sent to the address above” within one month of my checkout date.

I understand that this property is privately owned and the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. I will not hold Bear Mountain RV Resort responsible for any loss of money, jewelry or other valuables during my stay or for any accidents or injuries involving me and/or my guests. Should litigation arise concerning provisions of this agreement, reasonable legal fees will be awarded to prevailing party. I understand that if I arrive with more people in my party than the cottage allows, NO ONE will be permitted to enter the cottage, and NO REFUND will be issued. Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottages allow for a maximum of four (4) occupants at any one time. No parties allowed. I understand the cottage is for my registered guests and me ONLY.

Absolutely NO PETS are allowed inside of or on the deck of Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottage. Positively NO SMOKING is permitted inside of or on the deck of Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottage, If a pet is brought in or if the cottage is smoked in I MAY BE CHARGED for a new: Air conditioner, Sheets, Curtains, Mattress, Etc. To ensure the overall quality and appearance of Bear Mountain RV Resort’s Cottages these policies are strictly enforced. I will leave all the property in the same condition as I found it. Housekeeping is my responsibility for the duration of this rental contract. I will be responsible for leaving the dishes, utensils, and appliances clean, including removing any refrigerated items. All trash is to be disposed of in the receptacles provided. A minimum cleaning fee of $25 will be charged, if premises are not left reasonably  close to the same condition as move in. I’m 18 years of age or older and I accept full responsibility for the condition of the cottage. If I/we occupy the premises past the 11 A.M. checkout time, I will be charged a minimum of one-half (1/2) the daily rental rate and also I will be expected to leave immediately.

I am signing this agreement under penalty of perjury and I declare that I have read the above and that I sign this agreement with the full knowledge and understanding of the consequences of any violation of the above agreement.
